"This sculpture depicts Dhanya Lakshmi, the third form in the Ashta Lakshmi series, representing the abundance of food and agricultural prosperity. The name dhanya means “grain” or “blessed,” signifying her role in sustaining life through nourishment. She is especially revered as the source of all harvests, and is honored by offering food to others and expressing gratitude before meals.

Seated on a pink lotus and clothed in vibrant green garments, Dhanya Lakshmi is shown with eight hands. She holds a mace, lotuses, and a variety of crops such as sugarcane and paddy, while two hands are posed in Abhaya and Varada mudras. Her form is a reminder that all sustenance springs from divine grace, and that gratitude and sharing are essential aspects of abundance."
