"This model presents Lord Narasimha in a heroic pose, his muscular form towering above a shattered stone column. He stands with clenched fists, roaring in divine rage, adorned with a lion-faced mane, traditional ornaments, and a warrior’s wrap. The broken pillar beneath him references his miraculous emergence during his confrontation with the demon Hiranyakashipu.
In the Bhagavata Purana, Narasimha is the fourth avatar of Vishnu, who manifests in a half-man, half-lion form to preserve dharma. Emerging from a pillar, he kills Hiranyakashipu at twilight, fulfilling a boon’s complex conditions, and thus protecting his devotee Prahlada."
